On National Migratory Bird Day, go in search of migratory birds in the Biesbosch under the guidance of forester and bird expert Harm Blom.
After a short boat trip, walk along the forester's path to a lookout point. Here you have a beautiful overview of the large, still waters of National Park De Biesbosch. An area where, for reasons of water safety, agricultural land has been returned to the water and where no sailing or fishing is allowed. An ideal area for migratory birds to refuel during their long journey. And where iconic species like the fish and bald eagle regularly hunt.
