Dokter Tinus is the craziest and most engaging doctor according to the more than 1 million viewers who followed the SBS6 series weekly. Many of the scenes were shot in the historic fortified town of Woudrichem, and filming for each new series began early in the spring and continued well into the summer. Six months of regular visits by the film stars and crew turned the fortified town of Woudrichem into a living film set in which, in addition to residents, tourists sometimes played extras.
