Beaver Ride

The Biesbosch Museum organizes beaver tours which take place in the evening.
Since the first beavers were released again in 1988, the beaver population has increased to 250 beavers with 86 lodges at the last count.
During the trip, the skipper points out the tracks left by beavers all over the Biesbosch. At dusk the beavers become active and there is a good chance that you will see them swimming around in the creeks.
The museum is open on these days until departure time of the boat. Please note that a ticket for the museum is included with this cruise. You can visit the museum prior to the cruise.
