Woudrichem is an attractive fortified town with medieval walls, historic harbor, a museum and cozy restaurants.
Walk, bike or sail through beautiful natural areas and discover the rich heritage of the Dutch Waterline. With the fortified town triangle, the Biesbosch Line is home to four forts, two locks, several casemates and a fortified town. You can visit all but one fort. Take a bicycle tour along Fort Altena, Fort Bakkerskil, de Papsluis, de Sluis and fortified town Woudrichem and don't forget to visit Slot Loevestein . Several routes are available at the VVV leaflet stations. You can also find them on the route pages as downloads.
