Beginners bird excursion Biesbosch

In winter we have a chance to see numerous waterfowl, such as Pintail, Teal, Wigeon and many other species migrating from Scandinavia to their winter ranges. And maybe a Bald Eagle will fly over us! Find out on this beginner's excursion.
During this beginner's excursion, participants will enter the Brabant Biesbosch on foot under the guidance of nature guide Puck Ghijsen. The walk follows the hiking trail Aakvlaai, in the vicinity of Hank. The area is varied and offers different landscapes along the way.
Because the route passes through multiple habitats, there is a chance to see winter visitors as well as perennial bird species. During the excursion, there will be time to reflect on sightings and learn how to recognize birds.
