Vervoorne Molen
The Vervoorne Molen is a polder mill built around 1700 in Werkendam.
The purpose of the mill was to drain the Vervoorne Polder. The ground-sailer is an octagonal mill and has a paddle wheel. The mill was able to dry the polder entirely on wind power until 1934, after which an electric motor was installed. The mill can be visited by appointment and when the mill is running.
