Kasteel Dussen, located in the heart of Altena, dates back to 1331 and is one of the few castles in the Netherlands with an intact colonnade from the 17th century. The castle is open to the public annually, with tours on Sundays and special events such as the annual castle day on Whit Monday. The surrounding area offers several hiking trails.
