Round Dussen

The 'Rondje Dussen' takes you along the Bergsche Maas, nature reserve De Kornsche Boezem and through rural polders. Along the way you pass monumental farms, the clogmaker and you will find some nice picnic places.

Dussen is close to the Bergsche Maas. This river was dug by hand at the beginning of the last century to protect Den Bosch from flooding. From the village you walk towards this river. Along the way you will encounter a ferry that can take you across.

Towards Meeuwen you come across a picnic area. You cross the provincial road (pay attention) and then walk back into the rural part of Dussen. After junction 70 you walk past the windmill into the nature reserve Kornsche Boezem , also called the Kleine Biesbosch. This is also a great place for a picnic. Through an old dike with monumental farms and a clog maker you walk to the end point.
